Good …Feel Better
It
was an exciting time in 1989 when what began as a simple
idea, grew into a vision of a different way of helping
cancer patients cope with an important aspect of their
quality of life during cancer treatment - their appearance.
That vision grew from an experience with one beautiful
young woman's struggle with difficult cancer treatments,
to what is today a thriving Look Good...Feel Better®
(LGFB) program helping thousands of women each year
to look and feel beautiful, and find hope and courage
at a time when it is often in short supply.
Lucinda
and her staff volunteer for the Look Good… Feel
Better Program once a month in several different locations.
We share our expertise on wigs and skin care. We are
not there to sell anything to these women we are there
to educate them and help them to look good and feel
better during their time of chemo and/or radiation treatments.
Lucinda
has been volunteering for the LGFB program for over
20 years and was acknowledged in 2009 for her time with
the "Angel" Award.
